Talking, Tantrums and Walking...

Avelyn has started to say more words. We have heard, uh-oh, moo (for moose) and my mom said she said "okay" very clearly over the weekend. Av's personality is really starting to come out. She is becoming more adventurous and determined. If she doesn't get what she wants, we get a tantrum... and she has started to bite me if I try to take something away from her or just try to make her do something she doesn't want to. It is scary because I was a biter as a child too... so at least she gets it honestly :) These days we go from belly laughs to crying within a 5 second time frame. I just think she is getting frustrated because she can't tell us verbally what she wants.

Avelyn has also started to take her first steps. She was given her first pair of real shoes (from stride rite) and ever since her balance has gotten better. Yesterday she was sitting on scott's legs and i told her to walk to mommy. Well, she stood up and walked almost 3 steps. She had no idea she was walking, she did it so naturally. So, we are excited!
